Itinerary

You will be welcomed at Bangkok airport and taken to your hotel (the room will be ready for you at 2pm, early check-in is not included in the cost).

Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, has a glorious history that is connected to the Chakri dynasty, which still reigns but does not rule in Thailand. Settle in at the hotel and enjoy some free time to relax.

Overnight in Bangkok

In the morning, drive for more than two hours to Kanchanaburi, on arrival, board a train at Wang Pho station. Enjoy a scenic 30-minute ride along the river on one of Southeast Asia’s historic railways, the remaining part of the “Death Railway”, which was built by prisoners of war during World War II. Next, take a long-tailed boat on the river Kwai to see the famous bridge, where you can take photos and visit the old structure. The Kwai River Bridge is known to the world through several films and books, and it is still in use today. The river is full of restaurants, souvenir shops, and jewelry stores. Observe a steam locomotive and a hybrid car/wagon from the war era, which are part of a small Railway Museum near the bridge. After that, visit the World War II memorial, which includes the Jeath War Museum and the Cemetery.

Overnight in Kanchanaburi

In the morning, travel by private mini-van to Ratchaburi. On arrival, visit the Damnoen Saduak floating market. See the colorful and lively scene of the market, where vendors sell fresh products from their boats. It is one of the most authentic and famous floating markets in Thailand, and a must-see attraction. Take a boat ride and taste some delicious food cooked on the spot.

Proceed to Samut Songkhram and enjoy a bike ride to the Amphawa floating market, which is different from other markets because the boats are anchored to the canal banks. Explore the market and see the old chapel of a temple. Continue biking at 4 pm to your accommodation. In Samut Songkhram, you will have the option to take a night boat ride on the Maeklong River and watch thousands of fireflies that light up the trees like Christmas lights.

Note: Amphawa market is open Fridays to Sundays from 2pm to 8pm.

Overnight in Samut Songkhram

In the morning, drive to Hua Hin, a place famous for its traditional fishing port, seafood restaurants, and long sandy beach. Hua Hin is a great destination for a beach holiday, and the royal family also stays there part of the year. It is perfect for families and anyone who wants to relax away from the big cities. Visit the Klai Kangwon Palace, a summer palace built in 1926 by King Rama VI. It has three Spanish-style villas facing the sea, north of Hua Hin. You will have some free time to enjoy yourself.

Overnight in Hua Hin

In the morning, leave for Prachuap Khiri Khan, a fishing port in a beautiful bay. There are lovely beaches nearby. Visit the Khao Chong Krachok (the Mirror Mountain), where you will find a sacred monastery on top of the hill. Climb 395 steps to a small pagoda surrounded by playful monkeys. Also, visit Ao Manao (the Lemon Bay), a peaceful beach that is ideal for relaxing and swimming. This place becomes more lively on weekends. You will also see a cute monkey monument there.

In the afternoon, drive to Bang Saphan, a paradise for nature and quiet lovers. Bang Saphan has its own charm and pace. Its main attraction is the long sandy beach with coconut palms and bungalows. On arrival, have some free time. You can visit the local market in the town and join a typical barbecue on the beach in the evening.

Overnight in Bang Saphan

In the morning, drive to Chumphon and take a boat trip from there to Koh Tao. Koh Tao is an island in the Gulf of Thailand, about 70 kilometers from the shore. It means “Turtle Island” and it belongs to the Royal family. Koh Tao is a world-famous spot for scuba diving. It has clear waters and many diving schools that attract tourists from all over the world. Enjoy your time on the island free at leisure. Koh Nang Yuan is made of three small islands connected by a sandbar, with a long stretch of white sand and amazing coral.

You can rent a scooter to visit the less crowded places on the island.

Overnight in Koh Pha Ngan

Free at leisure on the island.

If you are looking for a fun and adventurous trip, Koh Phangan is the perfect Thai island for you. You can enjoy many activities on the island, such as:

  1. a) Scuba diving: Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you will love diving or snorkeling in Koh Phangan. You can take boat tours to see the amazing marine life. One of the best dive sites in the island, and the whole Gulf of Thailand, is Sailrock.
  2. b) Hiking: You can hike on many trails around Koh Phangan Island. A popular route for backpackers is between Haad Rin and Haad Tien beaches. You will see the beautiful scenery, beaches and jungle on the island.
  3. c) Taking a boat to Bottle Beach: This is a quiet and relaxing beach in the north of Koh Phangan. You can only reach it by boat. The beach is large, the sand is white and soft, and the water is clear and clean. It is a great place to swim.

Overnight in Koh Pha Ngan

In the morning, transfer to the pier. Take a boat from Koh Pha Ngan to Koh Samui, the third largest island in Thailand. Koh Samui is located in the Gulf of Thailand and has stunning beaches, tropical trees, exotic fish and colorful corals.

During your free time on the island, you may want to visit the Monkey Theater, where monkeys have been trained for centuries to pick coconuts from the trees. You will also see shows of monkeys and elephants.

You may also want to see the Big Buddha, a 12-meter-high golden statue of Buddha that sits on top of a dragon-decorated staircase. The Big Buddha is on a small island connected by a dirt road to the east of Bophut. Near the Big Buddha, you will find the Wat Plai Laem temple, a Chinese Buddhist temple that has a huge statue of Guanyin, the goddess of mercy and compassion, with 18 arms.

Overnight in Koh Samui

In the morning, transfer to the pier. Take a ferry from Koh Samui to Don Sak. From there, travel by car to Khao Sok National Park. It is a stunning place in southern Thailand, with lush vegetation and limestone hills. You will be amazed by its rich jungle, its lake and its wildlife, which includes tigers, leopards, elephants and small Malay bears.

In the afternoon, visit Chiew Larn Lake, which is 65km away from the park entrance and the most beautiful part of Khao Sok National Park. You cannot miss the boat trip on Chiew Larn Lake, where you will see a breathtaking lake landscape with limestone rocks and submerged tree tops. In the morning, the fog gives the landscape a mysterious look. At dusk, the limestone shapes look like a fantasy movie set.

Overnight in Khao Sok

You will have an amazing day today as you ride an elephant through the jungle to a hidden waterfall, where you can swim and relax. Then you will have lunch at a restaurant that has tree houses around it. You will also go on a canoeing trip on the Sok River for an hour and a half. You will see the stunning scenery of Khao Sok, which is often hidden by the thick forest. You will see how the tree roots cling to the limestone cliffs and rocks. You will have an English-speaking guide who will tell you about the wildlife and the ecosystem of Khao Sok National Park.

At the end of the day, transfer by private air-conditioned car from Khao Sok to Khao Lak without a guide.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
