In the morning, visit the National Museum, which was once the Royal Palace of Laos. It has a beautiful collection of artifacts that show the rich culture of Laos from the ancient kings to the last ruler. Next, pay a visit to the Central Market where you can see the local people selling and buying various products, such as fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, fish, meat, handicrafts, and textiles.
After that, explore some of the most impressive temples in Luang Prabang, such as Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Mai. The most stunning temple is Wat Xieng Thong, which is located at the confluence of the Mekong and the Nam Khan rivers. The temple has exquisite decorations, such as gold stuccoes, carved doorways, and a mosaic of the ‘tree of life’ on an outer wall.
Later, take a boat ride on the Mekong River, and stop at Ban Xang Hai, where you can taste the local rice wine and see how it is made. Continue to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, where you will find thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of different shapes and sizes, brought there by the faithful villagers.
Later in the day, climb to the top of Mount Phousi, where you will see the sacred, golden stupa and enjoy the sunset view of the city and the river. After that, explore the Night Market, where you can buy handmade textiles from the hill tribes and local people around Luang Prabang.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
